When I attempt to ping host 1(VMnet0) to host2(VMnet1) which has IP address 192.168.13. I go to VM host 2(VMnet1) and ping GW also to see if it's successful and IT ALSO IS!!! I go to VM host 1(VMnet0) and ping the GW first to see if it's successful. SO far so good, right?(hopefully you guys are shaking your head up and down, lol) VMnet1: I go to my command and "ipconfig": IP address: 192.168.13.128. VMnet0: I go to my command and "ipconfig": IP address: 192.168.12.128. Harddrivefile type in case youever wanttousethis machine with VMware. I make the proper connections to my Router1. Unlike Dynamips or Qemu, VirtualBox needs to be setup with its set of virtual. The second "cloud" is setup the same way, except I choose Vmnet1. I "right click" and choose "configure" - Under "Generic Ethernet NIO", I choose Vmnet0 I have two node "Clouds" that I set up(One for VMnet0 and the other for VMnet1) If you guys see anything I did wrong, please point it out. So I think I setup all my VM on VMware workstation 10 properly. I do the same with the other VM and choose VMnet0 I "right click" on the first VM and under "settings" - "Network adapter" - I choose VMnet1 VMnet1: Subnet address -> 192.168.13.0/24, (all the other settings are the same as VMnet0) VMnet0:Subnet address -> 192.168.12.0/24, Type: "Host Only(connect vms internally in a private network)" and a check mark next to "connect a host virtual adapter to this network" On my Vmware workstation, under "Virtual Network editor" I have VMnet0 and VMnet 1 setup. I have two VM using microsoft 7 setup on Vmware workstation 10. Im setting up my own simple lab(it isn't that simple since I've been trying to figure this out for DAYS!!) and I'm having trouble pinging one host to another. I first want to apologize if this isn't the correct section I should put my gns3 and vmware workstation issue.
